Cruq is model-agnostic on purpose. Customers route inference through their own keys, and we do not lock them to one provider. Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub fits that cleanly. It adds a provider, some credits and tooling for the team, without changing the principle. Here is how we use each piece.
What Founders Hub provides
- Azure credits, tiered by stage, up to $150,000.
- Access to Azure OpenAI Service, including the GPT-4 family, embeddings and fine-tuning through Azure AI Foundry.
- GitHub Enterprise and Copilot for the founding team.
- Microsoft 365, plus mentors and co-sell programs.
Azure OpenAI as one more provider
Cruq already routes to any OpenAI-compatible model through a customer's own keys. Azure OpenAI slots in as another provider on that list.
- Customers already on Azure can keep inference inside their own Azure tenant.
- Regulated customers who need a specific data-residency posture can pick the Azure region that fits.
- Nothing about the platform changes. It is one more option in the same gateway, not a new dependency.
Credits and tooling for the build
- Azure credits cover the workloads we run ourselves, like evaluating models before we recommend them.
- GitHub Enterprise and Copilot support the day-to-day engineering.
- Co-sell and mentor programs help reach enterprise customers who already buy from Microsoft.
Why it matters
A model-agnostic platform gets stronger every time it can offer another credible provider without lock-in. Founders Hub adds Azure and Azure OpenAI to that set, and gives the team tooling and credits to move faster. It supports the platform without narrowing it.
