Cruq AI is registered in Dubai as Cruq AI FZ-LLC. That did not happen on its own. in5, the innovation centre run by TECOM Group, is where the company was formed and where much of the early groundwork got done. This is a plain account of what that support looked like, and why it matters for a company building production AI.
Getting the company set up
Starting a company in a new country is mostly paperwork and waiting. in5 handled the part that slows most founders down.

That meant we could sign contracts, open accounts and hire, instead of spending the first months on incorporation.

Why it matters for an AI company
Cruq builds production AI that enterprises run on their own models and their own data. Selling that to banks, insurers and government here means being a credible local entity, not a foreign vendor. Being a Dubai company, formed through in5 under the Dubai Development Authority, puts us in the same regulatory frame as the institutions we work with.
